Dwayne Wade’s Divorce Gets Worse

Dwayne Wade’s divorce from Siohvaughn Wade has gone from bad to worse as they battle for the custody of their children. Dwayne has filed documents for sole custody of the couple’s two sons, claiming Siohvaughn of being an “unfit parent.” Some of the allegations include affairs, threatening behavior and poor parenting methods. Wade’s divorce
looks like it will only continue to get
uglier and more public as the two now battle back and forth for custody
of their two children.

Earlier this week, Dwyane Wade filed 300 documents as part of his
petition for sole custody of the couple’s two sons. He accused his
estranged wife Siohvaughn Wade of being an “unfit
parent.”

He said his wife exhibited threatening behavior, had extramarital
affairs, used abusive parenting methods against their kids and refuses
to let him see his boys.

Wade has said his wife is participating in “alternative avenues of
worship that are completely outside of the status quo” when it comes to

Divorce proceedings begin by establishing ‘grounds’ for divorce. In other words, it’s important to establish what has caused the desire to divorce and whether the desire is mutual between the two parties.  Many years ago the Courts required a person to prove grounds for the divorce. Otherwise it would not be granted. Adultery and cruelty were often cited as grounds.

In this day and age it is much different, however. Divorces are most often filed under the so-called “no-fault” method, wherein irreconcilable differences are cited as grounds for the divorce. However if the couple can’t reach agreement under these grounds it may be necessary to establish some other basis for divorce. This might include drug use, drunkenness, bigamy, cruelty, etc. This is usually avoidable since most parties agree to follow a no-fault divorce case.
